About Me:
Hello my name is Ryan Yuengel, I have my teaching degree in
Mathematics from WilliamWoods University also a degree in mathematics. Some fun facts about me is I played
baseball at William Woods and the University of Missouri-Columbia. I grew up in
the state of Missouri in a town called Festus Missouri. I am a big sports fan
some of my favorite sports include baseball, basketball and football.
This year in my class room we are going to use baseball/softball as a
thematic unit. This means that all the assignments are going to deal with
baseball/softball. I have picked this unit because in baseball/softball the game
is made up of numbers. Also me and two other subject teachers are going to team
up and teach with this same unit. My history teacher is going to talk about the
history of the game of baseball and how baseball inpacked World War II. Also in
science they will talk about the different types of grass in the different
stadiums around the United States. In my class we will look at the geomtery of
the fields. Look at some of the numbers in the game of
baseball/softball.
Classroom Expection:
Students will be expected to have fun and engage in classroom discussion. They will be called on to answer questions or come to the board and work out a problem. I want the students to have fun and learn a lot in my classroom this year.
